Dr Rod Campain

Industry perspective (Non-staff role)

MMBS; FRACGP-RG

GP Liaison Connect benefits from the industry perspective of Dr Rodney Campain, a practising General Practitioner.  Rodney does not work for or provide services through GP Liaison Connect; his perspective is personal only and does not form part of our operations or client services. His perspective helps ensure facilitation work remains grounded in the realities of general practice, allied health and other specialty practice.

As an experienced GP, Rod understands the medical landscape and the benefits that can flow from connecting GPs, allied health professionals and other specialties.

Rod currently works as a Duty Medical Officer with Top End Primary Care at the Northern Territory Department of Health. Over many years, he has completed regular locum placements in remote NT communities.

He has extensive experience in medical education, delivering Life Support Courses for ACRRM and RACGP to fellow GPs, and working as a clinical educator for medical students at Eastern Health.

In the past, Rod has previously worked in both rural (ranging from small to large communities, including those with hospital rights) and in metropolitan practices across Melbourne.

(Rodney’s professional work is entirely separate from GP Liaison Connect and is undertaken through his own employment and professional registrations. Rodney’s involvement with GP Liaison Connect is limited to general contextual insight only. He does not provide clinical input, advice, supervision or services to GP Liaison Connect or its clients.)
